Arccaptain CUT 50 plasma: What will it do?
Lol. Nice troll post.
don't do this. just because😂
Terrible idea. These high amperage connectors need to be crimped on, not soldered.
I use this in the automotive industry coupled with staking. Never have issues, great tip.
Its better to heat them together so the led goes into the wire hairs im sure itll work tho
Good stuff
What about tinning ? I believe this might not bond well..
What is "1 aut/out"? Green
Bet to use the top posts from car batteries
7018 & 6010 will blast thur anything never leave home without them
um, thats a crimp on lug anyway, wtf u doin dude
Hearing this encouraged me to quit goofing around and finally start a business at 24. I’ve been on the fence between Bull Hauling and pipe welding for a while and learned the longer you wait, The less likely you are to be successful. God bless this gentleman.
Love it
I just bought my first welder an old school lincoln AC-225-S stick welder never have welded before so I'm gonna have some fun doing this always wanted to learn, I know I'll be using your videos as reference a lot. Can't wait to actually get started.
Nice idea 💡
Vibration kills it
Could someone explain what “schedule” means?
Not in marine usage. heavy amp draw will melt the lead and the cable will drop out of the lug causing a potential short and a fire. Crimp the lugs. Use the proper size lug. Not one that’s too big like this. Use the correct dies with the crimping tool. It won’t fail. Unlike this.
Why to use coper if the bond is made by lead and have greater resistivity, you can use lead wires😂😂😂😂😂
This is faulty. When i try weld it not work. I got filler rod and its gripped securely in the stinger on my prime weld tig machine. It doesnt work. And yes i did have the oxygen cut on im not dumb
thanks a bunch taylor for your videos and knowledge i don't plan on doing this right now and i don't know if i will do this but you have opened my mind to think outside the box in using my welding skills to make money and inspired me furthering my belief that theirs always work out here for an entrepreneur willing to scratch his head and think outside the box
have welder.... build tools ..make life easier (you can do this with a 13amp stick welder)
How much should these jobs be priced out for?
Genuine question... Let me start by saying I'm not a welder I'm an electrical engineer who can weld. So won't this just melt and come apart on high amp jobs?
It’s so refreshing g to hear a welder who doesn’t blow his lid when he’s given a subpar fit. Knowing how to address it and continue on with the weld is only the right thing to do. If only more welders would learn these type of the trade.
Hello sir If u don't mind Can I join your team Because I am arc welder so One chance I am Indian
You guys don't run bullets? I learned in Western Australia from predominantly South African welders, but typically you either bash the flux off a 2.3mm 7018 and bend it into a V as a gap guage of sorts, or you cut little 10mm lengths of 3mm ish rod called "bullets" and then tack weld them at 1200, 0400, and 0800 hours clock positions on the pipe. Seems to work pretty well
Loved the video and the attitude. Definitely subscribing. Been welding for 15 years but I always love to learn more tips and tricks. Thanks boss.
Wow awesome design. You are really getting creative with that new plasma machine!
I hit root and head but top metal does not come plate gap 2:5MM but the rod is also 2:5mm, the route is not correct, how will it be?
Thanks for making this
Don’t you need flux?
Just use proper heavy duty crimping tool.
100% Correct...

This is so well explained and then demonstrated. I just started welding as a hobby. Great teacher. Thanks
you have a great gig going partner. I definitely want to do what you did. Great gig buddy, great gig. mucho kuddos to you and your Dad.
Ffs. 😂
Brother I bend my rod at the stinger in case it sticks I can break it off the weld easier without pulling it out of the stinger

congratulations, you've just made what electricians call a Cold Solder Joint. The Wire needs to be heated, or the joint will eventually fail.
Cool, thanks
Needs triangles
As a practicing electrical proctologist i can testify that all of you know very little about sh!t.
If I can't get a grinder in I use the end edge of a file or even my tungsten scribing pen to cut through the rust to start it. two passes (even with mig) and it works...this is such a good video dude
Excellent videos. If you take time to think about the obstacle you in most cases an find a solution. Completely unrelated but i just machined some blocks to mount to my 2' & 4' levels to be used when checking slope for sewer piping under slab. Videos like this open the mind to other idea's. Priceless.!!
Honest question, is lead that conductive or is it just used as an easy melting metal for soldering the the wire to the lug?
I have a 9,000 watt generator and I tried using my plasma cutter with it once and had the same issue. The plasma only pulls about 30 amps so it’s not overloading the geni and it runs all my welders just fine. I haven’t dug into it yet but I think it’s just got something to do with how a plasma cutter, it’s making the geni think it’s shorting out.
